About Eli
You are the expert on your own life. I am here to walk alongside you.
Will we work well together?
Therapy can be serious work, and I hold that with care. It can also be warm, curious, and even playful. I bring all of that into the room, depending on what you need. Two things I hear from clients about what makes our work together meaningful:
I lead with curiosity. Not just about what happened to you, but about who you are and how you think, what you feel, what your body holds. I find people genuinely fascinating, and I bring that into every session.
Relationship is at the heart of healing. The connection we build together isn't just a backdrop for the real work. It is the work. What you experience in this room, being heard, being met, being challenged with care, is where change takes root.
I work best with people who are genuinely curious about themselves and open to exploring what's underneath the surface. Many of the people I work with have felt unseen or misunderstood in previous care settings. If that's you, I want you to know: you will be met here.
More about my background:
I hold an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) and am a Certified Complex Trauma Professional (CCTP-II). My clinical training is relational and somatic, with particular depth in complex trauma treatment. I practice from a feminist, liberation-informed perspective and am committed to affirming care for LGBTQ+ clients, neurodivergent people, and those navigating lives outside mainstream norms.
In my personal life, I am sustained by community, movement, and curiosity. You will find me running trails, dancing to house music, or rock climbing when I am not in the therapy room. I read psychology books for fun. I live in Reno, Nevada, with my husband and chosen family, and I have a deep appreciation for what it means to be in genuine relationships with the people and world around me.
I am a pre-licensed therapist completing supervised clinical hours toward full licensure in Nevada, providing services under the supervision of Alicia Arnold, LMFT #02687, at Elements Counseling & Wellness.
